Parents of the abducted school girls from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok , Borno State have reportedly arrived the Presidential Villa Abuja, to meet with President Goodluck Jonathan. Daily Trust reports that the girls’ parents were conveyed with four Abuja Urban Mass Transit busses to the Banquet Hall of the State House at about 10.30am this morning. It was also reported that about 30 of the escaped girls also graced the invitation.The parents in attendance also include those of the girls still held captive by the terrorist group, Boko Haram, as well as some community opinion leaders who are not direct parents of the girls. High ranking federal government officials and all the service chiefs have also arrived for the meeting. Reports just coming disclosed that the meeting started at 11.20am shortly after President Jonathan, and Senate President David Mark, arrived the venue. The governors of Borno and Bauchi States, Kassim Shettima and Isa Yuguda, are also in attendance. It is also reported that Journalists have been asked to leave the meeting venue. It would be recalled that the meeting was earlierslated to hold on July 15, 2014, but was cancelled by the abducted girls parents. More details soon…
