Abuja-Based Bauchi Politicians Hired PDP Members To ‘Stone’ President Jonathan To Ridicule Me – Gov. Yuguda

Governor of Bauchi State, Malam Isa Yuguda, on Saturday said those who pelted President Goodluck Jonathan at Thursday’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential rally in the state were PDP members hired by Abuja-based politicians from the state.

The governor cleared the All Progressives Congress (APC) of complicity in the embarrassing episode, which occurred as the president’s convoy made its way to the Emir of Bauchi’s palace. The national leadership of PDP as well as the Presidency had fingered the opposition APC in the attacks, which came on the heels of a similar incident in Katsina State.

But Gov. Yuguda, who is a member of the PDP, in an interview with the BBC Hausa Service yesterday, said the incident was pre-arranged to tarnish his reputation before President Jonathan.

“I am sure and let the world know that the people who did this thing were PDP members and those politicians in Abuja were the ones behind it; they were not APC members.

“They found these youths on the road and gave them brooms and they instructed them that when the president was passing they should raise the brooms and pelt them at him.

“They did that so that the president would think that Isa Yuguda is against him. They have been telling him in Abuja that we are not supporting him. They did that to show the president that Isa Yuguda is nothing in Bauchi, to show that despite being an indigene of Bauchi, Isa Yuguda could not be respected with his guests in Bauchi”, he said.

“We were not aware of the plan ahead of the rally. They took us by surprise. Did you ever heard of such a disgrace to any guest in Bauchi, let alone the president?” he asked.

Asked whether he also knew those behind the burning of the APC office in the state, he said, “I did not know who burnt the APC office in Bauchi. All I know is that these youths were recruited”.

Guess who is wanted by police... Mercy Johnson

Popular screen diva, Mercy Johnson, is in a deep mess as you are reading this!

Mercy Johnson

According to InformationNigeria, the popular Nollywood actress and mother of two is allegedly wanted by the Nigerian Police over a N2 Million unfinished movie debt. This is not one of the storylines in the Nollywood movies as it was said that a movie marketer, Film Mark Productions, has accused Mercy Johnson of running off with over two million Naira, being the complete sum paid to her for a movie role.

Reports revealed that the marketer paid the actress in March 2014 to star in his movie that kicked-off production a month later (April 2014). However, Mercy Johnson was said to have abandoned the location a few days into filming, after featuring in only a few scenes.

According to the movie maker, Mercy Johnson made the excuse that she wanted to be with her family during the Easter period, and since he (the film maker) knows the importance of family, the actress was given time off from filming, with the promise that she would be back on location in two days’ time. However, she was said to have never returned till this report was filed.

The filmmaker also made it known that he continued paying hotel bills for an extra 33 days, claiming it was all in the hope that the actress would return, but they did not know that all her assurances to be back soon on location were all unfulfilled.

After several weeks of not returning, they heard she was pregnant with her second child and had traveled to the US to stay for the remaining three months before giving birth. This prompted the filmmaker to report the case to the police, and ‎Mercy was declared wanted.

The filmaker insisted that he wanted his money to hire another artiste to continue with his film. Mercy Johnson has not returned to Nigeria from America where she welcomed her second child several months ago.

It would be recalled that while the actress was pregnant with her second baby, she got a surprise baby shower from her friends. The baby shower got her so emotional that she broke down and started crying.

Playing safe... Effect of oral sex

Oral sex is becoming an popular in the game of foreplay in our community. Both young and older people are finding pleasures in such act. Below are Health risks and other studies showed about oral sex...

Sexually transmitted infections

Chlamydia, human papillomavirus (HPV), gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis (multiple strains), and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), can be transmitted through oral sex. [4][5][26] Any sexual exchange of bodily fluids with a person infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, poses a risk of infection. Risk of STI infection, however, is generally considered significantly lower for oral sex than for vaginal or anal sex, with HIV transmission considered the lowest risk with regard to oral sex. [5][6][27][28]

There is an increased risk of STI transmission if the receiving partner has wounds on his or her genitals, or if the giving partner has wounds or open sores on or in his or her mouth, or bleeding gums. [5][6][13] Brushing the teeth, flossing, undergoing dental work soon before or after performing oral sex can also increase the risk of transmission, because all of these activities can cause small scratches in the lining of the mouth. [5][6] These wounds, even when they are microscopic, increase the chances of contracting STIs that can be transmitted orally under these conditions. [5][6]

Such contact can also lead to more mundane infections from common bacteria and viruses found in, around and secreted from the genital regions. Because of the aforementioned factors, medical sources advise the use of condoms or other effective barrier methods when performing or receiving oral sex with a partner whose STI status is unknown. [4][5][6][26]

HPV and oral cancer link

Links have been reported between oral sex and oral cancer with human papillomavirus (HPV)-infected people. [29] In 2005, a research study at Malmö University's Faculty of Odontology suggested that performing unprotected oral sex on a person infected with HPV might increase the risk of oral cancer. The study found that 36 percent of the cancer patients had HPV compared to only 1 percent of the healthy control group. [30]

Another study in The New England Journal of Medicine suggests a correlation between oral sex and throat cancer. It is believed that this is due to the transmission of HPV, a virus that has been implicated in the majority of cervical cancers and which has been detected in throat cancer tissue in numerous studies. The study concludes that people who had one to five oral sex partners in their lifetime had approximately a doubled risk of throat cancer compared with those who never engaged in this activity and those with more than five oral sex partners had a 250 percent increased risk.
Best is to stay safe, protected and with one partner only. Ciao ciao

Mbaka is wrong.... Catholic Church

Mbaka is wrong... Catholic says

The Director of Social Communications at the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, Rev. Monsignor Gabriel Osu has come out and talked of the recent political declaration by Father Ejike Mbaka.

Father Ejike Mbaka

The Reverend said that Father Mbaka does not speak for the church but only for himself and is therefore responsible for his own utterances.

He said: Whatever happened in that Adoration Centre on that day represented his personal views. What does he really wanted to say? It becomes difficult for to say whatever he wanted to say. In any way, as priests of the Catholic Church, we should not be partisan. As fathers of everybody, either PDP or APC or any other political party, we must not be partisan.

We owe it a duty to encourage men and women to go into politics and sanitise the system, but we must not be partisan. The message is lost when you become partisan. Father Mbaka is on his own.

He revealed that the church has always tried to seperate Religion and state in the nation.

He said:  Churches are not meant to be campaign grounds. They are places of worship. Thus, it would be wrong for a priest to turn his church to a campaign rally of sort. Granted that politicians can come to churches, just like other believers, to seek the face of God; but they should do so with humility as not to disturb the sensitivity of others. I recall an incident that happened somewhere in Anambra State where two politicians allegedly came to a religious programme, in company of their supporters. In the course of the programme, the supporters of the politicians clashed and many were allegedly killed in the fracas that ensued.
